MAUVSA Advance Conference (MAC) is a three-day annual conference hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (MAUVSA). The conference brings together hundreds of young adults from 18 schools across four states to promote leadership and awareness of Vietnamese culture through keynote speakers, workshops, and many more activities. The mission of the conference team is to help facilitate the creation of leaders who will take the lessons they have learned and apply them to better themselves and the community in which they live.

The Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (MAUVSA) proudly presents the 13th annual MAUVSA Advance Conference (MAC XIII) taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Williamsburg. For over ten years, MAC has brought together thousands of young adults with a multitude of backgrounds to give them a chance to explore and find success.
The theme for MAC XIII is Enter Your Multiverse. We hope that our theme serves as a reminder to all of our members in this community to appreciate where you are in your lives as it took a lot of time and effort for you to get to where you are, and it should not go unnoticed. We wish to send a message that it is okay to be uncertain about things because there are hundreds, if not thousands, of possibilities of what you can do or what you want to do. This is the time where you can figure out what is best for you.
The main objective is to help create a level of confidence and reassurance in yourself and trust in your abilities to end up where you want to be. We want everyone to use this conference as a moment in which you can look internally and figure out what you need in order to comfortably take the next step in your life because there is no right or wrong path that needs to be followed. We want to help reassure you that everything will eventually fall into place and it will be just fine.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Please have the following information prepared:

• A photo of your student ID card (General attendees only) (file size must be less than 10MB)
• A headshot (file size must be less than 10MB, .jpeg, .jpg, and .png are most compatible)
• A photo/PDF of your COVID-19 vaccination card (file size must be less than 10MB)
• Your MBTI Personality type
• Your Love Language results
• Your PayPal account

WAITING LIST INFORMATION

The waiting list will become available after Wave Two Tickets are sold out. The waiting list will be available until November 22nd, 11:59PM. Any sign-ups after this point will not be considered.

Here is the procedure you must follow:
1. Register for the waiting list with your university-affiliated email address (.edu).
2. If you do not have a university-affiliated email address, please add your school initials in parentheses next to your name. For example, Tammy Tran (VT).

If the registration committee is unable to identify your school affiliation from your waiting list entry, you will not be considered for the MAC XIII waiting list. If you do not follow the procedure, you will not be considered for the waiting list and must sign up again with valid credentials.

NOTE If you are offered a ticket from the waiting list, you have 24 hours to respond and register. If you do not register within 24 hours, you will forfeit your position on the waiting list and must register again.

Disclaimer In order to have our regional schools fairly represented in an equitable manner at MAC XIII, waiting list ticket distribution will prioritize schools with the least registered attendees. MAUVSA and the MAC XIII Registration Committee reserve the right to distribute tickets.
